Flower Discoveries: Business Audits
Jesse is sharing excellent advice on this week’s Flower Discoveries. When was the last time you audited the business side of things? This is incredibly important in order to make sure everything working digitally on your business’s behalf is, well, working—from your email to the links on your website. Here’s a list of a few items to check quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.
Your site’s inquiry form (especially if you have multiple on your site)
The email incoming and outgoing from each device used
What email filters you have set up
Go through your website links—especially the most important parts (like your web gallery!)
The contact link on your Instagram profile
Plus, hear from Meagan discuss her all-time favorite article on Team Flower: How to Hang Vines and Greenery on Any Surface by Courtney Kroymann. You’ll find super helpful tips for different types of walls, types of greenery, and the best tools for certain scenarios!
Special Guest: Natalie Boon of The Wild Folk Florist
This conversation is likely to have us all “lump in throat” as Natalie shares her heart for her community. She began her farm in 2020 and immediately wanted to open it up for others to experience the joy that flowers bring. You’ll hear several unique ideas and tips for engaging with your community and loving them with flowers.
In addition, Natalie is chatting about the freedom you can find when you turn off the “thinking” side of your brain and letting your creativity take over. You’ll also hear her favorite flowers—as difficult it was for her to narrow it down!
Natalie's particular "job" is ever evolving! She is predominantly a wedding florist using her own flowers but recently began to incorporate baby workshops and a Pick Your Own Flowers program. She's always thinking of ways to share what she's built on her crazy hill over the past year and is looking to move further into holistic avenues like floral retreats!
