In this incredibly interesting episode, Alex Frost of QuickFlora joins Kelly to chat about technology in the floral industry. You’ll hear about how changes in floral design technology have impacted the industry over the years—from the invention of the internet to accelerated deliveries. Alex is explaining how introducing robotics and kiosks to the floral industry can be a positive addition; he talks through what they are and how they work.

“Change is never easy and a lot of times it’s certainly never fun, but if you have that positive change mentality in your organization and you can encourage your team to test or adopt the latest technology, then it’s going to give you a profound competitive advantage in the marketplace.”

“We’ve had more and more florists inquire about the [paperless] capability over the last few years, and seeing is really believing. When you see that type of environment where there is no paper and it cuts down on errors and it speeds up the ability to process orders...there are many benefits to that process.”
