Flowers. They are so much more than a bloom when they’re in the hands of a person. When you use flowers as a connector, you add so much value to what could be an everyday experience for yourself. Gretchen is expounding upon this thought as she joins Kelly on the Team Flower Podcast.
She’s also chatting about how to navigate business transitions and growth. Located in Texas, Gretchen knows a thing or two about growing flowers in warm climates. Tune in to hear some helpful tips on growing beautiful blooms in hot temperatures!
Petals, ink. is a floral studio and small flower farm located 18 miles Northeast of downtown Austin. The design studio began in 2019 offering a weekly flower subscription, which included an arrangement and a flower story chronicling the life and legends of a featured flower in the vase. (That’s the “ink” in the name.) The business has grown and evolved over the last 10 years to a small team of women producing wedding and event floral services, 100% locally grown deliveries, a local farmer’s market, a flower truck for pop up events and private parties, and experiences on the flower farm ranging from garden and design classes to creative experiences with other local businesses.
