Blue Ageratum

Blue Ageratum

In this video, I’m here to teach you all about ageratum (pronounced “ah-jer-AY-tum”)!

This flower comes in various colors—blue, pink, and white—and is native primarily to Central America and Mexico, but the United States also has several native varieties!

Ageratum is easy to grow and is sometimes a perennial depending on your growing zone, which means it’ll come back year after year!

As you choose elements for your floral arrangement, you’re trying to create a mood or feeling with the elements as a whole. This bloom has a great texture that is versatile and can be easily incorporated in numerous styles of design.

Ageratum is a fantastic transition flower and will create a wide variety of moods based on the other blooms it’s paired with.
